MedHaul was born out of a deeply personal challenge. Founder Erica Plybeah struggled to find reliable, non-emergency transportation for her grandmother, a Type 2 diabetic with double leg amputation, in the Mississippi Delta region.
Faced with a broken system, Erica set out to fix it.
Today, MedHaul provides safe, scalable, and compassionate transportation for the patients and communities most often overlooked. We work with hospitals, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to ensure transportation is never a barrier to care.
Whether you’re a patient who needs a ride, a provider trying to reduce missed appointments, or a driver who wants to make a difference, MedHaul is here to help.
Mission
We’re here to make healthcare more accessible, starting with transportation.
MedHaul was built to ensure that no one misses care because they can’t get there. We focus on serving patients who are often overlooked, working with partners across healthcare to provide safe, reliable rides that meet each patient’s needs.
Our Values
Honoring the humanity in every interaction
We treat patients, partners, and team members with empathy, respect, and understanding because every journey begins with care.
Championing accessibility
We work to eliminate barriers so that safe, inclusive, and reliable transportation is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Delivering with intention
We are deeply committed to results that matter. With focus, grit, and purpose, we ensure our efforts lead to measurable improvements in patient outcomes and healthcare access.
Innovating for impact
We challenge outdated systems with creative solutions that improve lives. Our focus is on continuous improvement in how care is accessed and delivered, especially for the most vulnerable.
Acting with integrity
We uphold our values at all times, not just when it’s convenient or visible. Our choices reflect a deep responsibility to our mission and community.
